Hotel Shigira Mirage

The service from the staff was generally very good. The food at all the restaurants we tried was of good quality.

I enjoyed staying at Shigira, the service was great, the room condition was perfect. All the staffs were so kind, especially the English staff(so sorry that I forgot the name) helped us book dinners for the whole stay and upgrade our room to ocean view. I would definitely choose Shigira for my next stay. Thanks a lot!

The room is so nice that it's out of my expectation. Very big, pleasant, clean and with good seaview. Had champaign, BBQ scallops and tiger prawns for breakfast. Overall, money was well spent and I should have booked one more night.

This place is absolutely gorgeous - 2nd time staying here. The pools are amazing, the grounds pristine, the beach beautiful, and an expansive choice of restaurants. We loved taking the golf cart around the grounds at night and going "creature hunting" (i.e. looking out for ghost crabs, toads, and large hermit crabs)...this was especially loved by our 8-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. We also loved going to the duck pond and feeding the ducks (to the Shigira staff, there is an older black duck who has a limp - please watch out for him) and looking at the other birds living in the pond (there was a nest of babies). Overall, if you are looking for beauty and luxury in Miyakojima, this is the place.
